    She's4Sports and Canadian Women & Sport held the We Are Sport 2SLGBTQ+ Inclusion and Advocacy webinar on July 29. The panel included BIPOC leaders: Aprille Deus, Assistant Coach, Ryerson Rams men's basketball team, Christine Hsu, Sports Inclusion Consultant and Natasha Spence, World Champion Pro Boxer. The discussion addressed LGBTQ inclusion and advocacy in sport and steps people can take to become a better ally to the LGBTQ sport community.

    Ainka Jess, Founder of She's4Sports kicked off the series with Katie Barnes, award-winning journalist who covers LGBTQ issues and women’s sports for ESPN. Katie talked about race relations in the U.S., advocacy for nonbinary, gender fluid or gender queer sports professionals and what next steps the sport industry should take to make sport more inclusive for LGBTQ sports fans and athletes.
