Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) are not just buzzwords. They are the cornerstones of our identity and the strength that propels us forward.

We actively seek and elevate stories of Canadian women athletes who have traditionally been underrepresented in sports media. We operate within an antibias, antiracist framework to dismantle discrimination and barriers to access, amplifying voices from Black communities, Indigenous communities, the 2SLGBTQIA+ community, athletes with disabilities (both visible and non-visible), Canadian newcomers, and other traditionally marginalized groups.

We passionately celebrate the remarkable diversity of Canadian women, embracing all ethnicities, races, skin colours, faiths, gender presentations, body types, ages, cultural backgrounds, abilities, and socio-economic circumstances. In honouring these differences together, we can inspire a legacy of inclusivity that transcends the boundaries of sport.
